Project 365 : 200/365 – Saying Goodbye
It is time for me and my 70-300mm VR to part ways. I was pretty excited when I got it but since my obsession with fast glass set in, it rarely made its way out of my bag. So, it is time to say goodbye so that I can make some of the upgrades that I have been saving for over the past few months. I will be listing the lens on eBay in the next 24 hours so if you are interested in it, let me know.
On a side note: Holy cow! It is day 200 already! Wow! I can’t believe that I have made it this far!!

Project 365 : 199/365 – Lo-Mob Strawberry
It has been an amazing weekend of music, friends, food, and fun. A little wiped out so I thought I would go the iPhone photograph route today. I hope you all had as fun of a weekend as I did!

Project 365 : 198/365 – Dry Soda : Lavender
One of the beverages that was served at the picnic Miranda and I attended this afternoon was this Lavender flavored soda from DRY Soda. It was quite good and quite bubbly. Every time you took a sip you were mesmerized by the number of bubbles that moved from the bottom of the bottle to the top.

Project 365 : 197/365 – Francis Farewell Starlight
Tonight I was up at the Greek Theater to photograph MGMT, Francis and the Lights, and Helios Creed. Unfortunately due to a disagreement over the release, I did not photograph MGMT but I did photograph the openers. Stay tuned for the photographs from the night but for now, here is one of Francis Farewell Starlight from Francis and the Lights:

Project 365 : 196/365 – Optical Illusion
If I hadn’t goofed off yesterday I was going to use a photograph of the wind vane that we have on our back deck. Miranda picked it up a few weeks ago and it does produce an interesting optical illusion when the wind spins the frame. It looks as if the ball moves up and down even though it is staying in the same place.

Project 365 : 195/365 – Sense Of Humor
I can’t imagine anyone would think that this is what I had in mind when taking a few photographs this afternoon trying to figure out exactly what I wanted to post for today. But for some odd reason as I was sitting here going through the photographs that I made, I kept coming back to this one I took on a lark while on our back deck. The mirror caught me eye and I hammed it up a bit. What can I say? I can laugh at myself.
