Project 365 : 6/365 – Cara Cara Orange
One of my goals for the year was to be getting myself back into the habit of eating some fresh fruit everyday. I was thrilled on Sunday at the local Farmers Market that there were some Cara Cara oranges available. These are hands down my favorite type of orange.
I also thought that throwing a macro shot into the mix today would be nice.

Hipstamatic for the iPhone
A few nights ago I picked up the Hipstamatic application for my iPhone to give it a little test drive. Once I started playing with I immediately added on the additional lenses that you can purchase (which also come with more choices for film and gels).
Here is a sampling of the results from trying the different lenses without using any of the flashes or gels (for simplicity):
John S
Jimmy
Kaimal Mark II
Helga Viking
Lucifer VI
Roboto Glitter
I am really enjoying this application and I would not be surprised if I were to use it this year as part of my Project 365.
Project 365 : 5/365 – Branches
I headed over to a park close to where I work today on my lunch break to capture this photograph of a barren tree. I am realizing that taking a photograph a day on my lunch break may prove to be a little more difficult than I had originally had thought.

Am I A Lucky Guy, Or What?
Last night I came home to Miranda making a wonderful dinner as a little surprise for me. To say that she is amazing is a complete understatement.
The dinner was comprised of lobster tail with an acorn squash and sweet potato medley along with glazed carrots and currants. This was all followed by a ridiculous strawberry tart for dessert.
Project 365 : 4/365 – Sunrise
I got up this morning to take the puppies out before I got ready for work and I was greeted by this stunning sunrise. I immediately headed back into the house to grab my D90. No editing was done to this photograph. It is straight out of the camera.

Project 365 : 2/365 – Marina Lights
Every year at this time these wonderfully lit buoys show up in the marina between Belmont Shore and Naples Island. While heading out for a late night bite last night I thought that they would be a great subject for today’s Project 365 photograph.
It was a little tricky since they are buoys after all and were drifting in the wake of some of the small boats that were trolling by.
