Empire Of The Sun @ The Music Box
While I had heard a little from Empire of the Sun over the past few months I had no idea what was in store when I photographed them last night. The lights, the dancers, and the music were all amazing. I was nearly deafened every time Luke Steele moved towards the front of the stage by the screams of the women in the front rows.

The New Pornographers, The Dodos, & Imaad Wasif @ The Music Box
I was back at the Music Box on Monday night to photograph The New Pornographers, The Dodos, and Imaad Wasif. It was the first time that I had seen any of these bands and I have to say, I was extremely impressed by The New Pornographers. The energy and the dynamic that they all share on stage is a lot of fun to experience.

Concrete Blonde & Flametal @ The Music Box
If you asked me to name my favorite female singers, Johnette Napolitano would easily be in my top five. It was an amazing experience to hear her in person for the first time Monday night as I photographed Concrete Blonde at the Music Box at the Henry Fonda Theater in Hollywood.
Flametal opened the show and was a nice surprise for me to see. They are an interesting blend of flamenco and metal.

Miike Snow & Canon Blue @ The Music Box
Wednesday night I was fortunate enough to photograph the sold out performance of Miike Snow at the Music Box at the Henry Fonda Theater in Hollywood for Prefix Magazine. Being a new fan of the group I was pretty excited to have this opportunity to photograph them.

Project 365 : 139/365 – The Music Box
I just got in from photographing the Broken Bells and the Morning Benders tonight who performed at the Music Box at the Henry Fonda Theater in Hollywood. I was there photographing the show for Prefix Magazine and I had a ball. Both bands were amazing. Pictures of the performances will follow in the next few days but I thought that this would be fun for today’s photograph.
