Green Day & AFI @ Verizon Wireless
Last night I was blown away by Green Day and AFI at the Verizon Wireless Center in Irvine. They were both amazing to photograph and to see their live shows.
Here are a few of my favorites from the day (be sure to stop by Prefix to see the entire gallery):

Empire Of The Sun @ The Music Box
While I had heard a little from Empire of the Sun over the past few months I had no idea what was in store when I photographed them last night. The lights, the dancers, and the music were all amazing. I was nearly deafened every time Luke Steele moved towards the front of the stage by the screams of the women in the front rows.

My Morning Jacket, Avi Buffalo @ The Greek Theater
I was thrilled to return to the Greek Theater last night to check out Avi Buffalo (all the way from Long Beach) and My Morning Jacket.

Frazey Ford @ The Hotel Cafe
I am very happy that I had the opportunity to photograph Frazey Ford at the Hotel Cafe last night. I have to admit that I wasn’t familiar with her before the show but it is safe to say that Miranda and I are now fans. What an amazing performance!

Rage Against the Machine, Conor Oberst & The Mystic Valley Band @ The Hollywood Palladium
I can’t even begin to explain what an amazing time I had last night photographing Rage Against The Machine and Conor Oberst & The Mystic Valley Band as they performed for the The Sound Strike Benefit at the Hollywood Palladium. It had been 17 years since I have seen Rage Against the Machine and what a time to see them again as they played their first show together in Los Angeles in 10 years. The energy of the Palladium was amazing and both bands delivered phenomenal performances.
