Project 365 : 197/365 – Francis Farewell Starlight
Tonight I was up at the Greek Theater to photograph MGMT, Francis and the Lights, and Helios Creed. Unfortunately due to a disagreement over the release, I did not photograph MGMT but I did photograph the openers. Kings Of Leon, Built To Spill, & The Features @ The Hollywood Bowl
On Monday night I got the opportunity to photograph at the Hollywood Bowl for the first time. To say that I was excited was an understatement especially wen I was lucky enough to photograph The Features, Built to Spill, and the Kings of Leon. I have been to the Bowl before of course but to be in the pit there was a pretty cool experience for me.

Project 365 : 193/365 – Smoke and a Strat
I just got in from one heck of a Rock & Roll concert at the Hollywood Bowl. I was lucky enough to photograph The Features, Built to Spill, and the Kings of Leon for Prefix Magazine. Concrete Blonde & Flametal @ The Music Box
If you asked me to name my favorite female singers, Johnette Napolitano would easily be in my top five. It was an amazing experience to hear her in person for the first time Monday night as I photographed Concrete Blonde at the Music Box at the Henry Fonda Theater in Hollywood.
Flametal opened the show and was a nice surprise for me to see. They are an interesting blend of flamenco and metal.

Dead Man’s Bones @ The Center For The Arts, Eagle Rock
Sunday night I was fortunate enough to photograph Dead Man’s Bones at the Center for the Arts, Eagle Rock. The venue was the perfect setting for the show and it had the feel of a middle school dance complete with refreshments (sno-cones, cupcakes, and cotton candy) and a disco ball providing the majority of the light prior to the show.

Project 365 : 178/365 – Theremin
I just got in from photographing Dead Man’s Bones at the Center for the Arts, Eagle Rock. This photograph was taken of one of the opening performances before Dead Man’ Bone’s took the stage. I am not sure why but I really want to play one of these instruments one of these days.
