This is another photograph that I have had in my head for a few days that I decided to give a go tonight. It also marked the first occasion that I used my SB-600 on the D700. It took a good handful of takes but I am pretty pleased with the result. Now, time to clean up the mess …

I love the effect of the specific depth of field (is that the correct term?) so that only the middle wedge is clear. It seems to be making a “statement” about itself.
