The Matting Debacle …
The aforementioned print shop wanted to charge me $12 a piece to cut the mats that I had already bought to the 7.5″x11.5″ dimensions that I need. Seeing as that I can order 25 of the correct size from Redimat for less than $40 shipped to me,the decision is clear. I am ordering the right sized mats for these prints. It is not a total loss. There are some shots that I can crop to 8″x10″ to fit the ones that I got.
I learned a lot from this. I hope that I was able to keep some of you from making the same mistakes.
