My First Macro Photographs

I have been messing around lately with what lens I wanted to purchase next.  Last week I settled on the AF Micro-Nikkor 60mm f/2.8D (Nikon calls their macro lenses micro).  It gives me the option to explore another type of photography that I can do which is always fun (learn more about macro photography).  While there is a newer version of this lens available, I went with this one because of the price and the recommendation of Ken Rockwell.

It is taking a little getting used to but I have to say that I love it so far.

Here are a few of the images that I have taken with it so far and they definitely will not be the last:
