Buildings of San Francisco.
A month or so back I was in San Francisco and I was fortunate enough to have been loaned AF-S DX Zoom-Nikkor 12-24mm f/4G IF-ED the for the trip by a colleague of mine that I work with. I stayed downtown and it was definitely a shock to be surrounded by such towering buildings for the first time in a while.
It was an amazing lens to have for such a trip because all of the shots that I was able to get of the buildings downtown. The lens was so easy to use even though I had never used something with such a small range before. I have heard that the AF Nikkor 50mm f/1.8D lens is great for learning composition and I have to say, this one is fun one to learn with as well. It was very hard for me to give it back but I did learn that it is something that is on my “to-get” list one of these days.
Here are some of the shots from the trip. Let me know what you think …
Thank you to Joe Belanger for loaning me the lens for the weekend. I really appreciate it.

Very COOL!!
